Mr. Panessa has been a trial lawyer since 1998 when he graduated from Georgia State University. After graduation, Mr. Paness took a trial attorney's position with a large insurance carrier where he tried dozens of cases early in his career to gain experience in anticipation of launching his own law firm. That dream became reality in 2000 when Mr. Panessa opened the law firm that was then named Panessa & Pou, LLC. Since going out on his own, Mr. Panessa has fine-tuned his trial skills by averaging over 10 trials per year. If that number seems low to you, then ask any other attorney you are contemplating hiring how many cases they have tried in the past year. Oftentimes, these "trial attorneys" have not tried a case in the past twelve months.

Mr. Panessa believes that the key to any successful resolution is being able to communicate to the other side that one is willing and able to try a case. Once that objective is achieved, obtaining a successful resolution to a matter becomes much easier.

While willing and able to go to trial, Brian also understands what it means to have a family. With that stated, Mr. Panessa shows a great deal of compassion to his clients and uses his mental creativity and his skills as a certified mediator to look for solutions that alleviate the need for a costly and painful trial.
