The law firm of Panessa & Associates, LLC prides itself on being a civil trial litigation firm. What that means for a potential client is that you do not have to worry about whether your family lawyer is scared to take your case to trial and would rather see you eat a bad deal for the sake of convenience and/or fear. At Panessa & Associates, LLC, we beleive that the key to a successful outcome, in family law as well as other areas of civil litigation, is the ability to impress to the otherside is the willingness to go to trial and the ability to back that willingness up with skill.

We also understand that family law litigation is an emotional roller coaster. With that in mind, while we are ultimately willing to try every case in our office, we look for solutions prior to trial that minimize emotional trauma and that are beneficial (but fair) and cost-effective for our client. Mr. Panessa is a certified mediator and has successfully mediated approximately 100 cases in his litigation career. His ability to think outside the box, compassion, and communication skills lead to successful resolutions of cases when often times no one would think such was possible.

In a nutshell, we will attempt to achieve as pain-free, cost effective solution for our clients as possible given the trauma that can accompany divorce, alimony, and child custody/child support matters. However, if we think our client should go to trial, we will straight up tell you our beliefs and will go fight for you and your right to your children. As Mr. Panessa has said before, a family law trial can be more important than a criminal trial. After all, I think all of us would choose a year in prison than lose custody of our children for twelve.
